MUSICA BOTANICAJul 18 2012
It is so nice to be in the botanic gardens. Especially in Cairns. They have a whole greenhouse of orchids, which remind me of Meryl Streep. Anyway, I am heading up north there in August, thanks to the good people at Tanks Arts Centre. My good pal & fellow Seeker Lover Keeper bandmate, Sarah Blasko (who has just finished recording her new album!), is headlining the event, which is called Musica Botanica. I will be playing right before her, doing a solo set with my guitar and keyboard. Details are here.

I am very pleased to announce that me & my band, The Hello Tigers, will be performing See! bob dylan nightsMay 06 2012
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of that fine day in 1962 when Bob Dylan released his first album, there are going to be a few big concerts in which tribute will be paid to the great songwriter, in song. I will be singing some, along with Josh Pyke, Kav Temperley (Eskimo Joe), Kevin Mitchell (Jebediah & a.k.a. Bob Evans) and Patience Hodgson (The Grates). We will visit The Palais in Melbourne, QPAC in Brisbane and The Sydney Opera House. We will also be playing at this year’s Splendour in the Grass, with some special Splendour guests. Dates & more information can be found here.

Line-up change for the annandaleFeb 27 2012
There has been a line-up change for our show at The Annandale on March 16. Unfortunately Rainbow Chan can’t play, but we are very excited to have Jordan Ireland (ex The Middle East) opening instead. I just played a tour of the UK & Europe with Jordan and loved watching him play every night. His new solo stuff is amazing. And I think this might be his first solo show in Australia. So anyway, it has fortuitously turned into a Spunk Records family night for Sydney, with Jordan, then the excellent Bearhug, and then us. Buy tickets here & come on down early.
